Chocolate Amaretto Fondue

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
  • 2 tbsp Vain 10th Anniversary Vanilla - Costa Rican Vanilla extracted in Amaretto 
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Pinch of salt

For Dipping (Choose Your Favorites):

  • Fresh strawberries
  • Sliced bananas
  • Marshmallows
  • Cookies or shortbread
  • Cubed pound cake or brownies
  • Pretzels

Directions:

  1. Heat the Cream:
    In a medium saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer. Do not let it boil.
  2. Add Chocolate:
    Reduce the heat to low and stir in the chocolate until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Incorporate Flavors:
    Stir in the Vain Vanilla - Costa Rican Vanilla extracted in Amaretto, butter, and a pinch of salt until the mixture is silky and glossy.
  4. Serve:
    Transfer the fondue to a fondue pot or heatproof bowl to keep warm. Arrange your dipping items on a platter around the fondue.
  5. Enjoy:
    Dip your favorite items into the chocolate and enjoy the rich, almond-kissed flavor.
