2 1⁄4 Self-rising flour
8 tsp Sugar
1 stick frozen butter (chopped)
3⁄4 cup cold buttermilk
1⁄4 cup cold sour cream
1 1⁄2 tsp cinnamon
1⁄2 cup jam
1⁄4 cup brown sugar
1⁄2 stick cream cheese
1⁄4 cup powdered sugar
1⁄2 tsp Vain vanilla extract, I used Original Baker's Blend
1 Tablespoon cream
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Mix flour, sugar and toss butter. Toss in cold butter. Add buttermilk, sour cream and cinnamon. Stir all ingredients. Pour out ingredients onto floured surface, need into ball. Roll out into rectangle.
Spread jam over 3⁄4 dough, sprinkle brown sugar over jam. Roll into log. Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes. Take out roll out of refrigerator and slice into 12 pieces. Place sliced pieces in cast iron skillet. Place skillet in pre heated oven for 20 minutes. Take cinnamon rolls out of oven and butter tops, return to oven for 10-15 minutes. Remove from oven, let cool, add frosting and Enjoy!
Place cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, cream, and squeeze of lemon. Cream together all ingredients together. Place in zip lock or frosting bag. Frost cinnamon rolls and serve.
