Red Velvet Mug Cake

Ingredients:

6 tbsp. all-purpose flour

2 tbsp. granulated sugar

1 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 tsp. baking powder

1/8 tsp. kosher salt

1/3 c. whole milk

2 tbsp. unsalted butter, melted

2 tsp. Vain vanilla extract, we use our Baker's Blend

1 tsp. red food coloring

3 tbsp. confectioners' sugar

1 tbsp. cream cheese, at room temperature

Directions:

In a 12-ounce mug, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk, butter, Vain vanilla, and food coloring. In a small bowl, mix together confectioners’ sugar and cream cheese until smooth, then drop into mug and push down until covered by batter. Microwave on High until just cooked through, about 90 seconds.
